Marketing and Sales Consultant

Location: anywhere but preferred in San Francisco Bay Area
Functions: lead generation, marketing, sales
Compensation: negotiable, commission-based

Marketing and sales consultant will work to develop the client base. The right person will work primarily remotely but needs to be able to visit prospects.


  • Obtain and record information about potential customers to be used for sales follow up emails and phone calls in a spreadsheet or a database
  • Identify and qualify prospects from a wide range of companies
  • Call prospects from the prospects list, explain our company’s services, and convert leads into qualified opportunities
  • Conduct follow up via email and phone
  • Set up meetings for the President with qualified prospects to discuss potential project engagements
  • Attend meetings with prospects with the President to help to convert leads into qualified opportunities


  • 3-5 years experience in sales and/or marketing
  • Marketing and sales skills including: professional phone voice and excellent phone etiquette, prospecting and qualifying skills, identifying and capturing customer needs, describing our solutions and benefits, converting leads into qualified opportunities
  • Highly motivated professional with excellent oral and written communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and good judgment skills
  • Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and take initiative
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, results driven, and flexible
  • Knowledge of our services is plus
  • Willingness to learn about our services is mandatory
